U M A R: Prologue
The midsummer sun beat gently upon the streets of Jesuri as the Spectators flocked to the Games. With the elders hobbling on their canes, the little ones toddling alongside their parents, and the youths racing through the streets, the seething horde poured into their goddess, the Centrisium. The stands of the massive stone coliseum writhed with humans and pale blue skinned Iythics scrambling over one another for the best seats to watch the spectacle in. The skies above the stadium were filled with Kmir, jostling each other with their leathery wings as they swooped about, scanning for a spot in the stands.
